Telephone Systems Integration:

nCall is a software only solution, we do not supply telephone systems or other hardware. We leave the decision about telephone systems to you, but we would be happy to recommend systems that our current customers use.

nCall can integrate with any telephone system that comes with a TAPI driver and also VoIP telephone systems with a SIP interface.

A TAPI driver (Telephone Application Program Interface) will usually be provided by the manufacturer of your telephone system and allows Microsoft Windows software to interact with the telephone system and receive information about incoming calls. It is similar to installing a printer driver for your new printer.

If your telephone system does not have a TAPI driver available, we may still be able to connect nCall provided there is a programming interface available. For a full list of the systems we support please see the Features & Benefits page.

nCalls Database Technology:

At the heart of the nCall system lies a powerful database able to store millions of calls and tens of thousands of client records, thus providing Answering Services with the security of knowing they wont reach the limits of the nCall system after many years of use. This powerful database technology also means nCall can handle dozens of operators both locally in the office, remote operators working from home or satellite offices.

nCall is currently a client server based system. Your data is stored in a database on your server and operators use nCall to connect to the server to view, edit and add call information. All messages are dispatched to clients from the server.

nCall does not place limits on the number of clients (customers), their contacts or calls that may be stored.

Software releases:

Since 2003, there has been a major new release of nCall every year. In addition, regular maintenance releases keep up to date with the latest advances in technology including new PABX & TAPI solutions. These releases are driven by feedback and specific enhancement requests from our customers across the world as well as innovations from our R&D investigations.

(Note the nCall server and associated programs do not require a huge amount of processing power and may even be installed on an operator PC should you not have a dedicated server PC available.)
